Yeah... the past couple of weeks have felt hard.

They haven't really been all that challenging. The same old work issues have been floating around. That's pretty much it.

But little moments... the worst being when we had to take my dog to the vet and have him put to sleep. That hurt.

Outside of that, I had a good trip to Lubbock. I chose to take my time and enjoy the drive since I went alone this time. My family or at least my Mom is usually in the same car, but schedualing issues made that impossible this time.

So I took the drive slow and had a great time.

While in Lubbock, my brother and I went to see the Incredible Hulk... definitly better then Ang Lee's "Hulk". A good, enjoyable movie.

I've submitted several photos I took on the trip... and I added two pictures to my scraps as well.

And then, the other morning I took a picture I really like. So... now... I've added my first print. Eventually, I hope to have some drawings to add as well... but that will take time (particularly because I want them to be 100% my creative property if I hope to sell them).

I'm also attempting to change some of my eating and exercise habbits heavily now. I'm tired of being overweight... so wish me luck.

Anyway, I'm still pretty busy with my many projects. I restarted my work on Chapter 16 of Conundrum... so the chapter is still a fair distance from complete. But it is working.

Also, I had a few nights recently to work on the Garg-O-Holics and I have the drawings for the next page complete. I just need to ink, assemble, and color them.

Also, Also, thanks for nearly 2000 views now. I can't believe its been that many already.

Stuff and All

Well, I felt that I should make a breif journal update to fill in some of the blanks for my recent activities.

If you've been over to my website, [link], then you're more or less caught up with the goings on.

However, I know not everyone has been to that site... so...

Work has continued to be a pain with some issues being so rediculous that you couldn't right a funny joke about it. For details, see my log forum at BWL.

Anyway, some good news came along as well. I recieved my income tax refund.

I can has stuff.

My shopping has been basically practical. I bought a battery back-up for my PC.

I also bought my first tablet. A Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet. I like this thing, but still plan to do my main comic projects the old way. I just like the style.

I also have finally upgraded from dial-up to DSL. Yea!

If you want to look me up on Steam, I'm here... [link]

And I can invite you to join the BWL group too, if you want. It's kinda empty right now. The whole community thing kind of lost its novelty already.

Anyway, I also went to the ENT doctor and had my ears examined again. And I went to the optomatrist. I needed glasses and knew so, but couldn't afford them previously.

Now I can, so I picked them up this afternoon. Here's a picture. And yeah, I also got a hair cut.

Anyway, I've started work on Chapter 16 of Conundrum and am 1/3 finished. I'm trying to finish off this badly needed chapter prior to continueing work on some of my GMod image story projects like The Corrupted and the eventual Barney Time remake.

Well, that's all for now.

Another Project Down

*Stretches* *sigh*

And with a little cram session tonight, I have finally finished my 1000 view special picture. I must admit, I'm very relieved. It's a bit more of an "artsy" piece then I normally compose, but I like it. [link]

And it only took me 433 extra page views to get it finished. ;P

Anyway, I've had the opportunity to start work on Operation Save Friendly Garg page 4 recently. The first frame is inked already. But, I'm going to turn my attention to some of my BWL story projects for a little while.

I keep reading the pages I have complete from the Source 2: The Corrupted (a HL2-GMOD comic) and I really want to see this one finished soon. I really like it... and let us not forget that I wanted to make the new Barney Time after that.

More importantly, I haven't updated my epic-fan-fiction Conundrum in something like a year and a half. :blushes:

I still, additionally, wish to make those Trinegate character drawings too. I'll probably have at least one of those finished before OSFG is updated again.

Hmm...

Seems I'm going to be busy for a while in my spare time.

*sighs*

Oh well, I'm actually making good progress now, and I'm having fun so...

TO THE WRITING CHAMBER!

Weeks of Work... One less Project

Finally.

I feel so releaved. So victorous. For several weeks now I have been either typing my "sonic points" or not touching them, but knowing that I should.

Yep, some serious procrastination going on there.

But anyway... I'm done. The fan-fiction document "My Sonic Universe" is a very long essay type document that addresses my inspriations and builds the back story for Trinegate, my sonic A/U.

I just finished uploading it and makeing a few fixes to the overall appearance.
[link]

While I was at it, I decided to post a picture of myself to the scraps. It's just a more recent version of me... with the shaggiest hair I've ever had.
[link]

Sorry that I still haven't uploaded the 1000 view image. I'll be working on that some again now. I haven't touched it at all for more then a month.

My main focus now, however, will be completeing the final page of An Average Citizen: Chapter 1. It will serve as a sort of "Season finally" as I turn my attention to other projects for a while.
[link]

Next up on the docket is to write a new chapter for my Half-Life Epic Fiction: Conundrum.
[link]

In all, its just hard to describe how happy I am that I'm making real progress again. Real Life issues and all.

1000 Drawing: 15% ( Still no new progress here. )

PS. I seem to be having some DA troubles this morning, every submission succeeds but jumps to a "cannot be found" or "you don't have permission" page.

Yep, I've been pretty busy over the last two weeks.

It all started with a trip to Lubbock. I went out of town for the weekend starting on November 30th. When I came back I was happy to have had the chance to download the XSI mod tool installer on my brother's broadband.

Then the sadness began. =P

I found some difficulty in connecting to my web site. No forums, no stories, no email.

So I gave it a night or so and tried again. Still nothing.

I decided to log into my MSN and thats when I found it. An email to my MSN (my contact email for our host). There had been a catastrophic server Hard Drive crash on Saturday morning. Everything was gone.

Thankfully, I had backups of nearly everything. And our host had a different server ready and had offered us a fresh account.

I asked them to change the site url to [link] and they offered to keep the old "friendlygarg" address on as a redirect. I then began installing forums and news, homepages and hosted mod pages, stories and comics.

At last, tonight, It's done. BWL is back to full capacity.

And to help celebrate, I've finished off the first real page of Operation Save the Friendly Garg.

[link]

As for my 1000 view image, I'm still working on that. I haven't done much to it since the mess with our server. But I'll get back to work on it now. I'm almost finished with the basic line drawing and I like what I see so far.

1000 Drawing: 15% (Not much progress when you spend two weeks restoring your website. =P )
