This is effectively the first "real" page of the comic.

Something I notice about this page from the start is the rough sketchy nature of the first couple of frames. The detail and line work improved as I went down the page.

This fact is due to one simple detail. I had not been working on the comic for a long period of time and started up again. It took me up to about frame 4 just to get a good rhythm going. Hence the better quality of drawing in frame 4. Those last two frames were also larger when I drew them.

Also worth noting is that I made this page from frames I had previously used in the black and white version of this comic. Under normal circumstances, the drawing would be a little more crisp with color producing most of the shadows.

But, I already had the page I wanted, so I just colored those drawings. From this page forward, all the content will be new drawings made specifically for a colorized version of this comic.

Over all, I'm pretty happy with how this page turned out, especially the last two frames.

This is, like the rest of this comic, hand drawn images on paper. Hand inked too. Then colorized in Paint Shop Pro 7 ae.
