Well... since I last posted a few details have changed.
Among other things, I deleted all my old characters from DC Universe Online. Why? Because I felt that their disclaimers were a potential threat. In effect, it gave them claim to my original characters. Well... no thank you.
Granted, yes I know they can't actually claim an original character because I use it for a personal skin in their game and all that. I would actually be able to win a battle over that matter in court. However, the responsibility to police such matters falls to me.
I must protect my own copyright. Having a big company such as DC, Warner Bros, or SOE claim one of my characters and then tell me to stop making my original content using said character(s), no matter how unlikely that situation may be, is possible. And I don't really have the desire or resources to fight them.
I understand that putting materials on-line automatically makes copyright theft an issue, but your basic user isn't going to be sending cease and desist orders or making large sums of money using your character. I trust that most people interested in these characters would find their way to me anyway.
It's the notion of yielding my copyright to a major corporation freely that really bugs me. And that very simple idea is the reason I decided to remove the characters and the ADC Hero Group.
In their place, I am making new characters purely for the game. This way, DC can claim these characters legitimately and it's no big deal. Once in a while, they have gone so far as to hold contests for characters to appear in an issue of the DC Universe Legends comic. And thanks to this change, I would actually be able to compete without worrying about my copyright being risked.

I have been doing some cleaning fairly recently and have posted a few nice items on my forums' VIP section related to the old Operation Save Friendly Garg comic. Old scripts and art.
If you didn't already know, I dropped that project in favor of Boundless, a new and original piece that will draw from OSFG only in so much as it will begin with the story of a team trying to save a large beast. The new story is drastically different in tone and concept and should be a fun one to read.
Since I am doing so and I found some old art while cleaning, I thought I would upload some samples for you folks too.
Additionally a few other items were added.
First, I added some really old sample pages from Ambition & Honor.
[link][link][link][link][link]Second, I added several old OSFG samples to my scraps.
[link][link][link][link][link][link][link]Third, I added an old doodle of a cat chick [it's all I can think of to call her] to my scraps.
[link]And finally, I added four pencil drawings from the most recent version of the osfg comic.
[link][link][link][link]Enjoy and I'll see ya later.
